What this site collects

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country or city), the kind of device and browser, and how people arrived (for example, from LinkedIn or a search). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off.

I use these numbers only to understand which work people look at and to improve the site.

What it doesn’t do

• No advertising or remarketing, and no selling or sharing data for ads.
• No accounts, and no forms that store your details on a server.
• The contact form opens your own email app with your message filled in. Nothing is sent or stored until you press send there.
• The freelance quote form sends what you type (name, email, business, service, budget and details) to my inbox through an email delivery service, Resend, and emails you a confirmation. If that service isn’t available, it opens your email app instead. I use your details only to reply to you.

Stored on your device

• Your light or dark theme choice, if you change it (browser storage).
• Your analytics opt-out, if you choose it below.
• When analytics is on, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga) to tell visits apart.

Your choice

Analytics stays off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. You can also switch it off for this browser here:

Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics (opens in a new tab) on every site.
